Production Accountant

Part Time Production Accountant: 

(2 – 3 Days, days and hours can be flexible) 

Office Based: Kings Cross Location Orchard 

Production Accountant is a new role that will report directly to the Financial Controller. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the finance team in accounting and compliance work. The role will work closely with the Financial Controller, Production Execs & Production Managers to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting. 

Job Role 

• Manage a portfolio of productions 

• Partner with Production Execs and Managers to ensure compliance with company financial procedures 

• Maintain up-to-date financial information including regular reconciliation of budgets, cost reports, and cash flows 

• Monitor Production milestones ensuring prompt sales invoices are raised to Broadcasters 

• Assist Production Managers with production employee contracts ensuring contracts are complete before payment 

• Support with the Production Payroll and Auto enrolment monthly process 

• Prepare and review cost reports and meet regularly with production teams to ensure accuracy 

• Support with training of Orchard’s Finance Assistant 

• Managing the production petty cash Requirements 

• Prior experience as a Production Accountant (TV/Film experience essential) 

• Experience working on large budget TV shows or Films 

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 

• Be a proactive individual and great problem solver 

• Strong written and oral communication skills
