Location Scout, Film Team – Area4 is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual with customer facing experience who is open to a new challenge liaising between the property and film industry.
Frequent travelling to locations required. North-West Home Counties and London.
About Us - Area 4 is a Film location agency, covering London & the Home Counties. We promote commercial property to the film and television industry for location shooting, production offices and set build space. Our goal is to generate revenue for landlords who own otherwise under-utilised or vacant buildings. Recently we have worked with Netflix, Amazon, Sky, ITV, BBC, Film 4, & Apple TV amongst others.

Role Requirements
· Sourcing, assessing, photographing and listing potential filming locations
· Researching potential properties to approach for listing on our location library
· Organising Location Managers and Producers on ‘recces’ (viewings) to our properties
· Coordinating ongoing film & TV shoots with the productions in situ
· Dealing with the landlords or companies who own /occupy the properties
· Provide imaginative solutions to film production briefs
· Source and respond to enquiries in order to remain engaged with the film production industry
· Manage written and verbal communications with clients
· Work with the team on how location options are marketed
· Business development with our network of film and television production staff making outbound phone calls to build client rapport
· Work with our Social Media team to generate content
· Network with the film and property industries
Skills needed
· Ability to scout multiple locations from a brief
· Happy being on the road. Confident driving and must have access to a vehicle to use for business use for frequent travelling to locations
· Motivation for home-based working and desktop scouting whenever not on location
· Client focussed communication
· Confident, outgoing, a problem solver, and able to think on their feet; the film industry moves very quickly and the job requires a tolerance for high-stress situations
· Flexibility - our schedules can often change at the last minute due to the nature of the creative industry
· Competent data entry and organisation
