Overview

The Facilities Manager at Shinfield Studios is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of studio facilities. This role ensures that all buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards, supporting seamless production and business operations. The Manager works closely with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to optimize facility efficiency, manage budgets, and uphold compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Do

• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and daily operations of all studio facilities
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal facility performance
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility upkeep and improvements
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations
• Coordinate facility upgrades, renovations, and expansion projects
• Track facility-related expenses, manage budgets, and optimize cost efficiencies
• Respond to and resolve facility-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to support their facility needs
• Maintain records of inspections, permits, and regulatory compliance documentation
• Train and oversee facility staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in maintenance and safety procedures

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring

Required

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, or maintenance leadership
• Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety protocols
• Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and maintenance agreements
• Ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to urgent maintenance issues

Preferred

• Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field or relevant experience.
• Experience in the entertainment, production, or media industry
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency best practices
