We are looking to fill a number of roles on an upcoming 10 x 60’ series for Channel 4, filming in Newcastle over the summer and based in Leeds for post-production.
*Series Producer*
Dates: Mid June 2025 – March 2026 We’re looking for a Series Producer with strong observational documentary experience, including overseeing multiple shooting teams and managing a series through edit to delivery.
Key skills include:
• Excellent editorial judgment and storytelling instincts
• Strong leadership and team management, with a practiced understanding of mental health and wellbeing processes.
• Confident working with contributors and sensitive subject matter
• Skilled at managing complex filming logistics
• Experienced in compliance, legal, and editorial standards for broadcasters or SVODs
Location: Ideally Newcastle/NE based, or happy to relocate for 12 weeks over the summer.
*Shooting PD*(x4)
Dates: Mid June - Mid Sept 25’ We’re looking for four Shooting PDs with observational documentary experience, strong editorial instincts and relevant broadcast credits.
Key skills include:
• Confident self-shooter on Sony FX9 / FX6
• Strong visual storytelling and narrative structuring
• Experience directing sensitive interviews and working with vulnerable contributors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with compliance and legal considerations
Location: Ideally Newcastle/NE based, or happy to relocate for 12 weeks over the summer.
*Series Edit Producer*
Dates: Mid Aug 25’ - Mid Feb 26’
We’re looking for a highly experienced Series Edit Producer to work closely with the Exec and Series Producer, overseeing post-production of the series.
This role is based at Candour in Leeds.
Key skills include:
• Excellent story crafting and scripting abilities
• Experience managing multiple edit suites
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to hit tight deadlines and manage schedules
• confident with compliance, legal, and editorial standards
