Steve Clark-Hall

Steve is currently setting up an eight-part TV Show while consulting on several other productions. He also runs a number of tutoring courses for PGGB, Netflix and a number of other organisations.

In 2021/22 he produced the eight-part Netflix Series Half Bad, having completed work on the first series of Armando Iannucci’s Avenue 5 for HBO. During the COVID Lockdown he was a Producer on Alan Bennet’s Talking Heads series with the BBC. Other recent productions include Peter Kosminsky’s BAFTA Nominated The State, which filmed in UK and Spain, and was broadcast on C4/NatGeo.

Steve set up Skyline Films in Edinburgh with his partner Mairi Bett. He is a long serving UK producer and acts for Major Film and TV Companies as Line Producer, UK Co-Producer and Executive Producer as well as developing original programming. 

He has a particular interest in supporting regional production and has an interest in industrial relations and supporting new entrants.

Steve has worked as producer on Small Faces,directed by Gillies McKinnon for BBC Scotland, Alan Rickman’s The Winter Guest and Guy Ritchie’s The Man From U.N.C.L.E.  Prior to that he produced the first four episodes of the NBC/Carnival mini-series Dracula, based in Budapest, and two Warner Bros. Sherlock Holmes films (directed by Guy Ritchie and starring Robert Downey Jnr. and Jude Law). 

Other Credits include Nigel Cole’s Calendar Girls,Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla and Kenneth Branagh’s Magic Flute.
