Callum McDougall

Callum first entered the film industry in 1979 as a production runner on films including “Victor/Victoria” and the “Hammer House of Horror” television series. He was a third assistant director on such films as “Curse of the Pink Panther”, “Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life”, “The Keep” “Sheena Queen of the Jungle”, and “The Bride”

As a key second assistant director Callum worked on over twenty films and television series including “Club Paradise”, “Gothic”, “The Living Daylights” (Bond), “Licence to Kill” (Bond) “Air America” , “The Witches”, “Jim’s Henson’s The Storyteller” , “The Muppet Christmas Carol” , “Inspector Morse” and “The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles” on which he was promoted to the role of unit manager for two further seasons.

Credits as unit production manager include “Goldeneye” (Bond), “Fierce Creatures”, “101 Dalmatians” (live action), “Tomorrow Never Dies” (Bond) and “Alien Love Triangle”. He was executive in charge of production for DNA Films on “Beautiful Creatures”, “Strictly Sinatra” and “The Final Curtain”

Callum was co-producer on “The Beach”, produced the comedy film “The Parole Officer”, co-produced “Die Another Day” (Bond) and executive produced “Harry Potter and The Prisoner Of Azkaban”, “Casino Royale” (Bond), “Quantum of Solace” (Bond) “Wrath Of The Titans”, “Skyfall” (Bond), produced the Disney musical “Into the Woods, was executive producer on the documentary “We Are Many” , “Spectre” (Bond ) and "Mary Poppins Returns”. He has most recently produced the WW1film “1917” for which he won 2 BAFTA Awards (Best Film & Best British Film), the Golden Globe (Best Picture), Producers Guild of America (PGA) Award, the Directors Guild of America (DGA) Award, and was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture.

He is also a member of BAFTA, the Producers Guild of America (PGA), and the Director’s Guild of America (DGA).
