We are aware that the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes last year had a profound impact on film and HETV production and that many of you were not able to work for a significant amount of time, and are still waiting for things to fully return.
Support for our Members is at the core of everything we do. As renewals approach, we have created an assistance fund to discount the annual Membership fee via a bursary scheme for Members who are in need.
As a community of peers, we know that PGGB Membership can be invaluable when times are hard. We want to make sure that you can remain a Member of the Guild, with all the benefits this can bring, from networking and training opportunities across our Nations and Regions to important industry updates and upcoming work opportunities.
If you feel that your income has been impacted by the strikes and the pace at which productions are returning, you can apply for a credit to your Membership until the industry gets back up to speed.
We also recognise the importance of keeping PGGB training courses accessible to all our Members. If cost is a barrier for you, we would encourage you to get in touch with us by emailing [javascript protected email address] to discuss how we can support you.
