Michael is a highly experienced industry leader with a career spanning 33 years within the Film and HETV industry.
Having run his own film-related company for some 23 years with both passion and tenacity, he has a strong understanding of industry variances, from pre-production to post, and from boom through industry shutdown and back again.
He ultimately relates to and champions the needs for and by a workforce that is predominately freelance and is subject to the many challenges relevant to the creative sector.
For Michael, creating and maintaining strong and proactive stakeholder relationships, to support the needs of any business is key, as is the ability to engage and empathise at all levels, internally and externally, and to thrive in an environment where he can pay forward the skills, learning, and support that he has benefited from in his career to date.
Michael has proven experience in delivering at C-Suite level, strategically planning for an industry future that continues to evolve at pace, with both high-profile mainstream and independent production growth and technological advances that will push the boundaries of how we live and work together.
