Prior to my degree I started working as a Customer Service Assistant for a Bank before becoming a Credit Assessment & Litigation Clerk. I then made the move into Accounting and began studying for my ACCA.
I worked in various Finance roles including Contracts Accountant, Financial Accountant, Management Accountant, and Commercial Accountant whilst studying. I then moved into Practice for RSM Tenon, one of the top 10 accountancy firms as a Corporate Finance Executive, before moving into the Commercial sector, first working as a Financial Analyst for Bacardi-Martini, and then as a Revenue Analyst for Pepsico.
I took a career break and have spent the last four years as a Finance Officer/Bursar in a Primary School responsible for all aspects of the Finance including Staff Contracts, Overtime & Expense claims, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Purchasing, Cash & Bank, budgeting, forecasting and monthly reconciliations.I have always had a desire to work in the Film & TV Industry ever since my work experience at a TV studio when I was 14, but never quite found the way until I discovered APATS, and was offered a place. I am very grateful to have been given this opportunity, and look forward to the challenge.
