Stephen is a Freelance Production Accountant/Financial Controller with over 30 years’ experience, Cost Controlling and reporting on Film/TV budgets. He is a member of the Production Guild of Great Britain.
Stephen started his career at the BBC after which he became a freelancer.
Since then, his career has spanned a wide range of films including, Elizabeth 1, The Knife That Killed Me, Macbeth, Waiting for Anya, Triple Word Score (Bill Nighy), That Good Night (Sir John Hurt and Charles Dance), Deus, Max Cloud, G Loc, Keep Your Trap Shut, Date for My Dad, Mr. Mayfair, Miss Willoughby and Father Christmas is Back.

2017 - Director and Board Member of Viridian FX. (York)
Viridian FX is based in the City of York. It is one of the leading VFX houses in the North of England it offers a wide range of high-end visual effects for film, TV and screen-based media. In 2023 it was decided to break into Film/TV Post Production, consequently Motion Post Production, a trading arm of Viridian FX, was created. A facility also based in the City of York. The talented team specialises in a full-range of post-production capability across Sound, Dolby Vision certified Colour Grading, Online, DIT, Supervision and Delivery.
From 2022, I took a more active role together with my fellow Directors. I now deal with the financial oversight and Accounting of the Company.
