James is a Sheffield-based agent, representing heads of department working in Film, TV and short form. With his team at Loop Talent, James looks after an experienced, diverse and exciting roster of talent – including Line Producers, PMs, Directors of Photography, Editors, 1st ADs, Hair & Make-Up, Costume, Production Designers, Intimacy Co-ordinators and more. Loop Talent work extensively throughout the regions of the UK, and James’ base in Yorkshire maintains strong links to production companies and talent that are local to the region.
James began his career in Vancouver, working in the Production department on high-end Commercials, Film & TV. During a busy 2 years in Canada, he learnt the nuts & bolts of production on shoots all over British Columbia. Following this, James moved to London and established himself as a freelance Production Manager & Producer working in commercials and music videos all over the UK and abroad.
James moved into talent management in 2017, representing below the line talent for their work across commercials and long-form projects. In early 2022 James joined Loop Talent as an Agent.
He lives in Sheffield with his wife and two young children.
