Alison Goring has worked for many years in film and TV drama production in the UK and abroad as an Assistant Director and Production Manager. Her credits include This is England 86, Mad Dogs, Cloud Atlas, Hysteria and The Awakening. In 2012 she stepped away from production and took up the position of Drama Talent Manager, delivering the BECTU Vision project (a union-led initiative focusing on providing training opportunities to the freelance film and TV workforce based and working in Scotland.
Since 2018, as Head of NFTS Scotland, she has overseen the establishment and growth of the Scottish hub of the National Film and Television School, delivering world-class training for the screen industries.
