Paula has worked in the film industry for almost 30 years, debuting as award-winning documentary director in 1994 with Northern Visions in Belfast. She has performed a variety of roles for companies such as Killer Films in NYC, art department in LA and Madrid, and as a producer and post-production supervisor on over 45 feature drama and documentaries. Paula is co-founder of HaZimation animation and gaming company formed with director HaZ Dulull. Paula has held several executive roles in the film and TV industry including Head of Production for Finite Films & TV where she was BIFA nominated as a producer on Winter (2015) and currently as Head of Post-Production for Nu Boyana Studios. She regularly hosts training events aimed at attracting underrepresented people into the industry, while at Northern Visions she was nominated for a Belfast City Arts award for a training scheme aimed at disadvantaged women. Paula has also worked in TV for Zodiak Distribution and in theatrical feature film sales for Wild Bunch and Elle Driver where she was responsible for material acquisitions, representing their team at film festivals and negotiating contracts with producers and buyers. Paula has grown a large network of industry professionals and keeps informed of European productions.
