Futures in Film’s mission is to support young and underrepresented talent who want to work in film and HETV, addressing the skills gap in the industry. Prioritising talent from underrepresented, faith-based, and disadvantaged communities, the team behind Futures in Film believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to be part of the film and TV industry. To achieve this, Futures in Film provides opportunities for young people to gain on-set experience and work with state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
In addition, Futures in Film has set up a live-in workspace in London to enable cohorts from Lancashire and the North of England to access industry networks and production opportunities that are often geographically restricted to the capital.
