In new releases this week, we’re highlighting Jurassic World: Rebirth, the latest instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise. Starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey, the adventure thriller is set five years after Jurassic World: Dominion (2022), and revolves around an expedition that braves isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough. UK filming locations include Sky Studios Elstree and the University of Greenwich.

Also new in film this week is The Old Guard 2, a sequel to the 2020 fantasy superhero hit starring Charlize Theron. Coming to Netflix this week, the film follows a group of immortal warriors as they return to protect humanity from a formidable new threat.
