I am absolutely devastated to learn that we have lost Rob. I worked with him on 24 Hour Party People. I was so fond of him and would always seek him out at events so we could have a good catch up and a giggle. I will dearly miss him. Just so sad. My condolences to his family.

I am really shocked by this news. I was Bob’s assistant location manager on the Ken Loach film “Ladybird Ladybird” which was my 1st film job. I worked with him several times as a location manager when he became a line producer most notably on “28 Days Later”. I had kept in touch with him over the years but this has come as a huge shock. What a shame. Such a lovely man. Deepest sympathy to his daughter and family.

I had the pleasure of working with Rob on Lady Chatterley’s Lover and remember him with great warmth. He was exceptionally good at his job, with a deep care for both the craft of filmmaking and the people who made it happen. He cared about his crew, and that mattered.
Above all, I will remember Rob as a kind, funny and gentle man who was a real pleasure to work alongside. I’m very grateful that our paths crossed. My thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of working with him.

Very sad to hear of Rob's passing. I first met Rob in 2016 when he hired me to be his Production Manager on Amazon Adventure and I was eventually able to return the favour years later and bring him on as line producer on Munich: The Edge of War. He left a lasting impression and will be missed! My condolences to his family and friends.
