Introduction to Location Management
The Location Department has a wide and varied remit within a film production; it’s not glamorous but it is fun and an essential part of the overall film-making process. From the creative beginnings starting with script breakdown, working with Directors and Designers and scouting locations, to the logistical and detailed planning of the shoot, enabling all other departments to go about their jobs as smoothly and safely as possible.
This two-day course will give you an insight into all aspects of what it takes to be a valuable member of the location team.

This course is run by Harriet Lawrence, an experienced Location Manager whose credits include My Cousin Rachel, Suffragette, Burton and Taylor, Fleming, Outnumbered, Downton Abbey and Dancing on the Edge.
