In new releases this week, we’re highlighting the A24 war action film Warfare. Set during the Iraq War in November 2006, the film follows a platoon of Navy SEALs embarking on a dangerous mission. Written and directed by Alex Garland (Civil War, 28 Days Later) and Iraq War veteran Ray Mendoza and starring D'Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai, Will Poulter, Cosmo Jarvis and Joseph Quinn, the combat movie was filmed at Bovingdon Airfield Studios in Hertfordshire near London.

PGGB Members Rachel Rosser (Production Manager) and Francesca Budd (Production Coordinator) were involved in the production, alongside PGGB Partners and Affiliates Warner Bros. De Lane Lea, Above The Line Set Assistance & Security, Audiolink,  Universal Production Services, Panavision, Sargent-Disc and CineArk.

Also new in film this week is the comedy-drama The Penguin Lessons, starring Oscar nominee Steve Coogan as a British teacher working in Argentina who rescues a penguin from an oil-slicked beach.

PGGB Member Andy Noble worked on the production as Producer, alongside PGGB Partner Media Insurance Brokers Ltd.

Coming out on Disney+ this week is the five-part psychological drama series The Stolen Girl, revolving around a young girl who never returns from a sleepover with a new school friend.
