Ali has been a Production Executive at Film Finances Limited since 2011, working on between 10 and 15 projects a year. Film Finances provides completion guarantees to film producers. Ali’s work involves all aspects of the making of a film from financing, pre-production, the actual shoot, right through to post-production. Starting his career at Sargent-Disc, Ali soon progressed to freelance production accountant and financial controller on both studio and independently financed films. Fluent in Spanish, Ali’s work has taken him all over Europe and also to the Middle East and South America.
Ali has developed close links with producers, crew, suppliers and financiers across the globe. Recent projects include A Monster Calls, Narcos, Eye in the Sky and The Lost City of Z. He is committed to training and developing youngsters who are interested in working in the film industry.
