Located just outside London, in an 11000 sq ft purpose-built facility, Virtual Production Studios by 80six is a state-of-the-art mixed reality studio featuring a highly customizable LED stage and next-generation real-time technologies (camera tracking, game engines, media servers, robotics) for delivering in-camera VFX (ICVFX) or xR (extended reality).
From size to curvature, 80six tailors the specifications of the LED Volume according to the production needs to introduce a cost-effective & more sustainable approach to virtual production.
The versatile studio has already hosted a variety of film, HETV and commercial projects including ‘Firework’, a ground-breaking virtual production short film shot entirely within an LED Volume, directed by DNEG’s two-times Oscar-winner Paul Franklin and ‘While the rest of us die’, VICE TV‘s latest eight-part US Government expose docu-series.
