Ellerby White

I became interested in film making whilst travelling in Australia. I joined a friend on a film making course, and I loved it. When I returned to the UK, I started a City & Guilds in TV and Film Production at night school to learn more about the industry, and I took a day job working accounts. It soon became clear my skills were more suited to accounting.

I have worked in several industries: construction, banking, advertising and the charity sector, where my roles involved: accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses and credit card processing, petty cash, and bank reconciliations. I also have recent experience of balance sheet reconciliations and cashflow forecasting.

I have formalised my technical knowledge by recently completing an ACCA Diploma in Accounting & Business (NVQ level 4). This has been part of my studies towards a BSc in Applied Accounting via ACCA and Oxford Brookes University.

I am grateful to have been accepted onto the Production Guild APAT scheme, as it gives me the opportunity to use my skills in an industry I love. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.
