Emily began her career as a Researcher on a number of prestigious documentaries around social welfare before moving into the world of TV drama and feature film production. From 2003 onwards she worked as a Production Manager for an array of features and TV productions for filmmakers such as Ridley Scott, Gore Verbinksi, Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer. Her credits include Pearl Harbour, Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men, Kingdom of Heaven and Shackleton.
Emily joined The Production Guild in 2009 where she was appointed CEO. During her five-year tenure she developed training programmes for the industry, campaigned to expand the UK tax incentive to include high-end TV drama, consulted on media related government policies and represented the interests of Senior Production Talent.
Emily joined Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in 2012 as Sales & Marketing Director. Now, as Senior Vice President, Emily is responsible for Business Development, Marketing and Operations for Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, Warner Bros. Leavesden Park and Warner Bros. Set Lighting & Rigging; working to attract all types of productions, from high-end TV drama to feature films, music videos and commercials.
Emily is passionate about diversity and inclusion and during her time at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden has worked on a number of initiatives and events with the aim of making the industry more inclusive, including an annual International Women’s Day event. Emily is a mentor and a champion for the next generation; encouraging women to find their voice and celebrate success. Emily is also responsible for driving forward the initiative to have a permanent childcare facility on site at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden which is due to open in Q2 2020.
